Scott L. Olson, Investment Adviser Representative, is the founder and President of Atlantic Financial Advisors, LLC, a registered Investment Adviser.

Scott founded and is President of InsuredIncome, LLC, an insurance agency , which aims to help clients reduce or eliminate estate-taxes, helping them pass along a lifetime of assets to their loved ones, or favorite charities.

He started in the financial industry in 1978, after learning how expensive a severe motorcycle accident could be – with no health insurance.  His doctors informed his family that he wouldn’t survive the trauma, but after surprising one of the best surgeons in Minneapolis, Scott survived, and learned the importance of insurance and financial planning.

In 2010, Scott founded Atlantic Financial Advisors, LLC, a Fee-Based financial planning firm based in Florida.

He presented the “Substantially Discounted Roth-Conversion” at the Florida Bar Tax-Section October 2014 conference, and again at their 1-hour CLE teleconference in March 2015.

Scott lives in Melbourne, Florida with his wife, Michelle and a host of dogs, cats, birds, wabitts and horses.

With 38 years’ experience in Financial and Estate-Planning, Wealth Preservation and Wealth Transfer, Scott has been a popular speaker across the U.S. to groups of Attorneys, CPAs, Financial and Estate Planning professionals and has provided required Continuing Education courses to Attorneys, and CPAs. 

He has provided Continuing Education Credit to financial advisors in all 50 states, and has presented at Caesar’s Palace, Las Vegas, at the International Forum and several professional study groups. The Forum is an invitation only financial services organization, limited to 400 advisors nationwide.  Scott presented his techniques at several annual conferences of First Financial Resources, llc, and national study groups.  FFR is also an invitation only financial services organization. 

Scott’s expertise includes, not just Roth-Conversion, but tax-free, or “Substantially Discounted Roth-Conversiontm” and the Annuity Arbitrage, a tax-favored income and estate-tax free wealth transfer technique.  He presented the “Substantially Discounted Roth-Conversion” at the Florida Bar Tax-Section October 2014 conference, and their 1-hour CLE teleconference in March 2015.
